Hey Blog!
So, this is a picture of me after I've finished off doing the first day of the Spartacus Workout. Lets just say, it was really tough, but it felt awesome! Seriously, it was the most I've ever sweat in my life and it was incredible. You can't tell with the shirt I'm wearing, but it was soaked, I know that's totally nasty... but it was actually a lot more fulfilling than it seems.
The workout itself is pretty intense, and it doesn't seem to stop. I took it kind of slow this time around, and went on something with it that my friend's mother told me earlier today:
"It's a marathon, not a sprint."
So, I kept it up on a slower pace rather than trying to go for a crap ton. I think I did it just about right, although I'm finding that my right knee is really giving me trouble and it's holding me back a bit. I don't know what's up with it, but it aches a bit every time I need to support my weight with it. I think I need to go get it checked, which I'll probably be doing pretty soon just to figure it out. It's irking me because it is making it tough to do some of the workouts I need to do.
I'll post some of the workouts I did probably tomorrow blog, I'm really tired after all that so I'm going to take off.
This is only day one of many Blog! Wish me luck!

Protein?!
Hey blog,
So this is me, several weeks into this with four months remaining left to lose about... 55 pounds. Well, at least... something like that. Although I do anticipate that I'll probably not reach One-Sixty... simply because I've got quite a bit of muscle mass going on. But, I'm making quite a bit of progress so far.
Recently, I found out I'm probably not getting enough protein in my diet, so with some instruction from my older sister I managed to pick up a package of whey protein. It's surprisingly good stuff, and I think it'll help a lot with my muscles constantly being pushed everyday. I think protein was a definite problem, as I've been doing a lot of jogging, bicycle riding, and core work and not getting enough protein to help rebuild after every hard day of work out.
I think this will help me get over a bit of a hump right now. I'm doing a lot of Cardio, and I noticed today my calves have shrunk an incredible amount, it's kind of insane! My legs are also toning out a bit, and I'm losing fat and it's replacing with muscle tone. It's really cool to be able to see an improvement everyday which is giving me a lot of confidence that I can truly do this by the end of the four months. Lets hope I can keep it up.
I've also managed to bicycle ride about 20.2 miles the other day. This is boding well, as I'm working myself to be able to bicycle ride to a beach near my house... by near... I mean 44 miles round trip. I'm honestly stoked about it, and I think I can pull it off. The scary thing about this trip is that there are these HUGE hills going out there, and one I know if is even hard to get up in a car. But... I think I can handle it.
"Go forward, and push yourself. Till the pain either kills you, or refines you into a champion"
Well, lets see how things go. I'll update in a little bit Blog 2!

Results results!
Hey Blog... erm... Blog two? Err... whatever...
So at any rate, there are noticeable differences in how I look since I started. Last week, I kind of let myself go, and didn't do much working out at all, I simply rested. But, as it turns out, that was all right for my body and it kind of needed it. So this weekend, I pushed a little to get it back into the swing of things. Here's what I did:
Saturday:
Fifteen-point-five mile bicycle ride to the Schwinn store in Fremont.
Agility Training with the jump rope and some slight boxing exercises.
Played Ninja with friends.
Sunday:
I went out with my buddies to the park to smack each other around with foam weapons and be nerds.
Monday:
Ten mile bicycle ride to the bank.
So, I've been a bit more active this weekend than I usually am on the weekends. On account of, weekends are usually my time of rest. But since I had a whole week to really rest up, it's good that I got the chance to do a little bit of activity this weekend instead. Although I'm a little disappointed I didn't get to do some jogging and core building yesterday night, it's all right, I did a lot that day.
Today, I wanted to start doing my morning Jog, Daytime bicycle ride, and Nighttime Jog. However, I ended up sleeping... a crap ton. I mean, I slept, and I didn't want to get up. I'd say it was good though, because it gave my body a chance to recover from the weekend more so than on Monday night's small sleep. But it didn't let my toe heal up, which by the way... has been being really odd and irritated. It didn't stop me from jogging today, but it's been bothering me a little bit.
So, right, the noticeable differences as a result of my work outs. So, my chest feels tighter, and my belly is coming down. My legs are toning and so is my back a bit, along with my butt... which... up till now has been somewhat of a worry for me. Not sure why. My arms aren't as jiggly... but they still are. But hey, that happens, baby steps. OH yeah... and my calves man. Overall, I'm excited to see things are going this direction. I'm excited for the new change of jogging time so that my metabolism throughout the day will stay up, I've already noticed that it has started to rise significantly. It's time to push up and keep on rollin'!
I'm pretty determined to keep this up, and it's turning out really well. I'm somewhat at a plateau in weight by number simply on the fact that my body is burning fat, but also building muscle at the same time with all of this stuff. It's awesome really, but I am noticing my body is still burning fat at a pretty good rate. My friend told me about doing a sauna idea where I go and sit in a sauna everyday to burn off water weight. Sounded like a good plan, but I don't think I can handle that... we'll see.
At any rate, I've got to do a jog in a few, take it easy Blog... er... Blog 2!
